Hi everyone. I stumbled on this thread on Lalique Car Mascots, and thought I'd point you to the Blog and News on Rene Lalique that includes a section on his hood ornaments. Current auction results, museum information, photos, videos, pretty informative stuff. The site also has a library with books, catalogues, period materials etc on basically anything you'd want to know or see about Lalique Mascots. Anyway, it's Rene Lalique Car Mascots related blog and news posts at RLalique.com. You might change your mind a bit about how great they look after checking it out. Of course, maybe not

Thanks for the link. That's great.
No one was saying the Lalique ornaments don't look great. Cars, even large ones, don't look too good with the large Laliques mounted. A Duesenberg can almost carry-off the look of the large Eagle head, but still "garish" looking.

Recently I was visiting the KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens), the largest department store in the European continent. It's a must see if you are in Berlin.

There I came across Lalique.
