As far as I know they used nitro lacquer and aluminum powder to paint the engines, this technology was used to the end of the 1980s on other engines as well. But the Aluminum powder+ nitor lacquer consept is far from good the so called "paint" starts to come off after time do to the heat from the engine. Posted on: 2009/10/6 2:07
