Well, as long as people are doing that to Cadillacs and not Packards I'm ok with it.

Jim L., you might also want to consider finding someone with an original dealer showroom book which has actual samples of the fabrics and upholstery patterns and carpets for each car line. Kind of a long shot I know, but they are out there and not as rare as you might think - talk to the folks in your local Packard regional club and maybe you'll get a hit.
