I am looking for a vacuum wiper motor for a 29 Phaeton 640. Or photos of what it should LOOK like.

Also, Any one have photos of an ORIGINAL 640 top??? I have looked at the archive photos.. Would like to see an actual original car. How about side curtain photos? Anyone?

Hi:

I will take some pictures tomorrow of the wiper, top and side curtains. The wiper is a "barrel" type of motor that is chromed. I have my original top. It is tattered, but all there for patterns and features. I also have a complete set of original side curtains that I don't think have ever been used.

Here are the pictures of the side curtains. I have never had them on the car and it is apart with new paint right now, so I didn't mock them up to verify whether I got them all right as to top and bottom, etc. They have all got labels sewn on them to identify where they go except the rear quarter panel curtains. Hope this helps. Will get to the wiper motor and top tomorrow. Do you need pics of an original top boot?

Here are the pictures of the windshield wiper. It is a Trico "Folberth" model. It is 5-3/4" long by 1-1/2" diameter and the housing is chromed. Hope this helps. I have seen them for sale on ebay occasionally. I will not be able to get to taking pictues of the top until next month as we are leaving for warmer weather in Hawaii.

Rod:

If you need more detailed dimensions for the side curtains, let me know. Will send photos of the top when I get back in a few weeks.
