That's a trans from a Bathtub Packard. Probably from behind the 356, since it's got that 5th bolt hole on the bottom, and I've only seen them on the '50 and back 356 Packards.
\\\\\CORRECTION////// The 5th bolt hole is for O/D transmissions, the 3 speed manual only has 4. The shift levers are NOT Packard, and were probably put on there by someone who wanted a floor shift hot rod.

Shift levers don't look right for anything prior to 51 that I remember seeing. Maybe someone adapted a different shift mech?

The numbers indicate that it is an R11 Borg Warner overdrive. They didn't get used on Packards until mid '49 The input shaft looks to be of the small variety which idicates it was used on the smaller engines 288 and 327.
The shift levers aren't correct for 48 - 50 cars. Large numbers of these transmissions were used on hot rods in the 50s and 60s. My guess would be that is the reason for the odd shift levers. I'm not that familiar with later model Packards so I guess they could be correct for one of those. In any case it should work fine for the bathtub Packards.
