I took the 400 to the Desert Diamond casino in Tucson and entered the Star of the Desert Car Show. Very windy but lots of fun. The 400 won best in class for all 1950's models of cars. And yes, the Packard was the only one at the show. 160 cars were present a 120k 1954 Kaiser Darrin took the best of show award.

Also, nice 1967 GTO, even though the 3x2 carbs are not correct for that year. But, who cares?

Did you fail to mention one other rider? Jim Beam. perhaps?

It appears the show is sponsored by the AZ Star. Really great to post the winners in the paper like that AFTER the event (I realize you couldn't do it before), but usually all the hype is before and few shows buy ads to announce winners after. Maybe easier if you own the paper, but still a good idea.
