As I am relatively new here to the PI site you guys may have already seen this stuff. but it is the first time I have seen many of these photos and I think it is very cool.

Actually, it is a web site dedicated to many vintage cars, see:theoldmotor.com/

But, there is a search bar that allows you to enter a search term and I put in PACKARD and got this link:
theoldmotor.com/?s=packard

I had never seen the Packard called the Thompson Special, aka the Glasscock Speedster.

Go to the 2nd page of photos and about the middle of the page you can click onto a video clip that shows the "Grey Wolf" racing during the first (1904) Vanderbilt Cup Race.

Enjoy.

Hello Guscha:

Vielen Dank.

I happen to bump into this stuff and just thought I would share it. Only issue I have with this website is that I do not know how to copy the photos to my computer. i tried right-clicking onto the photo and nothing happen. It must be protected.

I have not tried to copy the two videos yet. Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks, --Roger--

Ok, I found another website that had the same photo I wanted to save, see:
forums.aaca.org/f134/custom-bodied-packards-294757-16.html

West Peterson is commenting there on the Glasscock Speedster. Interesting read.

I found if you left click on the photo, it gives you a bigger picture and if you keep doing that till all you have on your screen is the picture, you can then right click on the photo and save it.
great photos.
