For those of you with Pre-War Clippers or Post-War bathtubs that have the side-opening hoods, be sure to keep the locking levers in the locked position when the car is not in use. When in the open position they leave a large opening into the passenger compartment that mice will take advantage of. I went to a local car show yesterday and opened the trunk to find mouse droppings and cotton batting all over the place. I had left the hood unlatched from the last show I attended and the mice made themselves right at home. No real damage thank heaven.
