Hi! My friend just bought a big partner desk that has a metal plate which reads "Packard Motor Company" and has a serial number. Does anyone know anything about these desks? Were they used in the dealerships? Thanks.

This is most likely from the factory in Detroit many companies were required to have idnetification on all property of value. I have a pallet jack with a Lionel Corp tag on it. The dealerships in general were not owned by Packard but were franchises. There were "factory branches" which were owned by Packard. Who knows??
