can anyone confirm:- Is there a Cam spacer that should be on my engine as i did not have one to start with and If yes where do you install it?
(when i was ordering parts i saw cam spacer!)

this is the first time i have taken apart this engine and hope that nothing else is missing! the pistons were the wrong way round and the clutch plate was back to front, with some damage to flywheel bolts and clutch plate springs, and thust bearing was rusted up.yet it still ran with no complaints and i thought it ran O K, (well it did?)
by the time i have finished it should run like a dream!! if you guys can think of anything else that i must check out please let me know
all the best Bill.
