I have a 1938 Packard Super 8 1605 model on consignment for a client of mine. My client paid $250,000 5 years ago. Does anyone know what would be the right amount to ask for in todays market.

Kevin - Very high end car, especially as I believe we are referring to Edward's convertible sedan, right? I cannot say as to as specific value, however, I suggest not only having a folio of pictures, but more importantly the history of the restoration and current mechanical condition. There is a known issue relating to the 1938 (early and/or late versions) of the cylinder block. This is a critical question that if addressed properly during the car's life that would be of considerable interest to a knowledgeable buyer. Same for the rod bearings, but I'm not about to open up that can of worms...

Or a wealthy buyer looking for another garage ornament, where a bit of research as to how many produced/remaining may be of interest, or original ownership.
