No one does that I am away of. Just go to Napa/Autozone/Local Parts store and buy a pack of assorted gasket sheet. Then you can just make your own. Should only take about 5 mins to make with a pair of scissors or an exacto knife.

If you skim through my project blog, there is a picture of the one I made.

That's what I was thinking. Or, just use Permatex.
There are two on mine. One is behind the backing plate, a simple round one that goes over the spindle, and the other is on the wheel side with four bolt holes that goes between the inner plate and the backing plate.

Kevin,

I think you are thinking of the rear brakes, and what you say is correct when applied to them.

The thin paper gasket on the front between the backing plate and the spindle serves another purpose, and I am not sure what it is. Maybe it is just a moisture/water barrier?

It is easy to make a replacement gasket at home in your garage.

JW, I am talking about the fronts. I think you are correct- it must be a moisture barrier. However, Kevin must be right about the other- it looks like a contingency measure in case the seal gives out, and has a passage to allow grease to escape and stay away from the front brakes. So, in that case, I think Kevin must know I mean front.

Here are the photos of the new wheel cylinders, along with the associated brass fitting required. The only modification was to add the fitting, and they will bolt right up. Another difference is that the bore size is 1/16" more, respectively. I don't think that will be any big whoop. I'll just have to add a little more brake fluid. The hoses are all exact replacements, thanks to Kevin's X-Ref.

Yes, there are two gaskets; a round spindle one, and a rectangular one that goes between the backplate and the that square metal grease catcher/guard.

You can see both of these gaskets on the 48-54 exploded parts diagram. These also apply to the 55/56 cars as well.
