It took most of the day but I was surprized how easy the stuff was to work onto the floor.

Looks good Kev. I am sure it will make a world of difference. Way better than the factory tar paper.

I have done this on approximately 30 cars and it makes a world of difference. Its expensive but well worth it in my opinion, i have done it on deck lids, the actual roof, complete interior as well as inside of doors. Good job by the way!

You can get an equivalent material at Home Depot or the like, adhesive foil backed duct insulation. Much cheaper and it's the same stuff (without the DynaMat logo)

I used the Home Depot stuff in the floor of my 1947 also. I am not sure it is as good a Dynamat but it is a lot cheaper!

I can assure you Dynamat is far superior to the duct insulation. If I couldn't afford the Dynamat I would not hesitate to use the duct insulation.

I purchased mine from Mcmaster Carr.
Flexible Foil-Faced Bubble-Wrap Insulation 5/16" 9367K33 $30.93 for 25ft.
I think Dyna-mat is better but you can't beat the price.
