When Doug was buying Packard parts in the 70s from closed or changing brand dealerships he would often find something from another brand the dealer had also carried mixed in with the Packard stuff. Here’s another antenna that may be easier to identify as I believe it’s ‘55 and/or ‘56 Packard. It’s virtually identical to the ‘51-‘54 type except for the coiled tube which I presume is missing its end as the nylon is sticking out. Other than that, it works well. The tube IS in the motor. The other end, though, is missing a section of the aluminum but rod or not. If not, the travel is still the same as it should be. However, whatever holds the aluminum tube in place isn't there. Does anyone have the clip and screws or even a complete tube assembly? Posted on: 2022/7/24 0:44
