Your 22 series is a late model with one piece bumpers. Have you thought of removing the paint to see what is undamaged and replatable? I have the center grill and the two long center bars, will have to dig through some boxes to see what I have of the smaller parts and take some pictures. The picture is of my station sedan with the early bumper. Dell

I have been working on stripping the paint off. And have it about halfway done but it takes a LOT of paint stripper.
I think everything should be replateable on the grille except for maybe the long center price and the identical long lower center piece. These have cracks (pictured). Might it be possible to weld these cracks on the backside of the piece then have them rechromed? Are the cracks in this place a somewhat common issue?
As for the bumper and the guards on it I am not so sure. The guards are pretty beat up with most of the chrome cracked off and dented as well as having some serious rust. As for the bumper bar it has a couple spots where the chrome has cracked off causing bad rust. It also has a couple dents. I am unsure if it is possible to get the dents pounded out before it gets rechromed but I would imagine not.
Haven’t had the chance to strip the paint off the back bumper and see what is hiding beneath the paint yet. I do know, however there are a couple spots where the chrome has come up and allowed serious rust spots. There is also a rotted out hole under the license plate light lens.

Most platers that do bumpers can handle the dents and even cracks but the grille is pot metal that takes special care but can also be repaired. Typically your local plater, though, even if they say they can do pot metal will likely ruin the parts so best to send off to a specialist.

Good to know, thanks! Any recommendations on such specialists? I live in Utah but am not opposed to sending parts across the country. The closer the better!
