The oil tank connection is what I see under the seat. I'll go under the car and search for mounting area for the motor/pump.
Think I'll also take the door panels off to be sure there actually are hydraulic cylinders present.

Thank you for all the info and the photos. They will help a great deal.
I've contacted Hydro-Electric and waiting for a reply.

Bill (Wmsue), two photos from the engine compartment can be seen below. Try to abstract from details as we are not comparing the same cars. The same applies to the pump and the contactor (which changes the direction of rotation of the gear pump). They look similar to your car's devices, but are not identical. The photos will probably help you find the installation location of your devices.

Thanks much.
I'm going into the Museum on Tuesday and Wednesday to volunteer. I'll take time to check it out the locations.

We just got our 1931 dual Phaeton up and running for the first time in over 20 years. Now I've got a fuel tank to drop and clean. About 4 gallons of YUCK inside.

The PackardInfo member Dave (JD in KC) would be a great source of information. At -> one point he was up to his neck in the hydraulic pump.

Don (Packard Don) & Howard (HH56) thank you, I have corrected my misinformation.

Great Lead for more information.
I think I've decided this will be our winter project at the Museum.
