The car is the wife's and she has had it for about 6 month's. I've been working on a list of things that she wanted to have fixed. One of these was the horn. I prioritized the list and some other items higher on the list.

I had started looking into the internals of the horn on-line, but had not found enough before starting the job. Then several weeks ago I took the car for a spin and stopped at an auto parts store for some parts. I returned to the car and had almost backed out of the space when I noticed another car had started to back out. It was at that point that I wished the horn had been higher on the list. As a matter of fact a lot higher. I yelled as loud as I could possibly do so. The other car stopped in time before it hit the right rear quarter panel of the wife's car. The other driver then put their car in Park. It was then then the brake lights went off, but when that happened the car rolled back about 1/2", which was enough to dent the lower rear trim piece (see "Removing Stainless Steel Trim Piece").

After getting some do's and don'ts on the car, all is now well as the horn works and the trim piece is back on.
