Thanks h.
I was looking for set screw on wind wing..I'll look again. The window crank area pushes in ...the door handle area is stiff... Does this look like a reflector for a 30s car tail light..

That reddish wire coming in is connected to your ignition switch cable. Originally there was a square pot metal ferrule that held the wire at that slot...

Flackmaster.. The parts book shows the fertile..have not looked to see if that is there...it might of gave up. But I find it odd my dad cut the wire.. It's not like him to do that. Except that the insulation was coming off and he might of decided to cut it.. I can make a fertile out of brass.. Or stainless.. Hood trim..guess I'll get some brass and machine them..easy to machine..then chrome There is a place here that lets you use there machines..but is expensive.I here. But cnc..would be great..then I would have the pattern...and anyone could use it..

Buy a shop manual! I am not a school teacher.
Feel like telling this guy off.. It's people like this who. Ruin 1. A club. 2. Have extorted prices. 3. Why. because I didn't buy from him. 4. Keeping parts out of hands of people who could use them or...save for others who might. Nothing but praise for David flack..

What a pita.
Whatever someone used to seal headlights. Used MEK..and that attacked it and made it. Slide the rims off. No way that could be Packard sealant..Silicone / RTV. Would of worked. Think I'm going to use glass setting tape and silicone.. Anyway..no special way to remove rims. Once they are free of gunk. They come right off..

Headlight parts
Have to figure out where the spring for reflector goes. And instead of rivits ..going to use bolts to hold retainer clips.
