Just from memory, the correct bushings are MOOG K-320 or TRW 12309. If I'm incorrect, someone please come along and correct me.

Looks like your control arm has been spread too far out.

The 8-1/16" measurement should be from the outside of the upper control arm as per Figure 14 on page 5 of the Suspension and Steering section in the 1951 to 54 service manual (1955-56 is the same)

Can't speak for the Raybestos and Moog parts, but Ford D3AZ-3068-A bushings match the original Packard parts.

BD, I had to spread it back out, so it was a little wider,

sprung back to 8 1/16th

that part is hard to find, found NOS ones, that D3az-3068-A, must be for a 1960 era, not the 70s,

Going to use my spacers for now, see how that works,

Also check the numbers supplied by Owen Dyneto as well as those in the X-ref.

I replaced mine about 6 years ago (56 Exec) . BOught them at AAP,AZO or maybe O'reillies. MIne fit perfect as the OEM fit. Don't have the number recorded tho.

I found the box. Perfect Circle FB 346. My hand written note on the box "same as 73 F LTD".

Do a eBAy search on d3az-3068-a. $30. Also eBay search the other numbers.
