Double check that bolt pattern. Unless it was off of a smart car, I doubt it's 3 1/2. More like 4 1/2 or 5.

Big Kev - I was understanding that the way you measure bolt pattern dimension was to measure from the center of one hole to the center of the hole the furthest away. That's the 3 -1/2".

I measured the outside diameter of the circle of the bolt holes from outboard side of a bolt hole to the outboard side of the alignment pin hole - 5-3/4". Measuring from the face of the backside of the wheel to the face of the mounting area is 4". Let me know if you need photos.

51 - 53 (Junior All) and '54 Clipper Super are all the same size rim and bolt pattern. Larger pattern and larger center hole

54 Clipper (Deluxe and Special) are a smaller bolt pattern (5 x 4.5), and smaller center hole. This is also the same wheel used on the 55 Clippers.

Awesome David!...thanks a bunch! It's looking more and more like the Buick Wheels will be a working alternative on the Packards and maybe THE ONLY alternative for a relatively stock looking wheel. One more hurdle to get over and I'm REALLY keeping my fingers crossed is the Buick wheel accepting the Packard full wheel covers. From the measurements I obtained from the man at the bone yard, the buick wheels backspacing may widen the track by as much as 1" but it should still allow the P235/75-R15's to clear the rear skirts and quarter panels. The Blazer wheels are 8" wide and although I haven't measured the backspacing, they fit with a very tight 1/2" to spare but they haven't rubbed yet. Thanks Again David!

Weren't senior wheels 6" wide. And did they have a different backspacing.
What is the normal gap between the rim and fender skirt?

It would be interesting to get the ID #s off the rims when tires are changed out.

David Grubs in post #16 says 4.25" back spacing, but 4" backspacing in #12. Also if his measurements in #16 add to 6.75" then isn't this a senior 6" nominal wheel not a junior 5.5" wheel?

I am a little confused.
