These 3 V12's have been featured 1 time or another but I wanted to post them together so its a little easier to compare:

1937:

Another 1937:
http://palmsprings.craigslist.org/cto/5450851913.html

And a 1938:
http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/5426258838.html

Also I wanted to add this 1. I looked at it last summer in Santa Monica where it was being auctioned off. If you're interested in this vehicle make sure you check it out before the auction. It was documented that it rolled over early in its life and you can tell when you look up close.

Hi

And the successor to those Twelves, a '40 Custom Super Eight 180 1808 Limousine:

Something less rarified, a '50 Eight sedan, might well be a good car seen in good light:

Is the dash in the 1940 super 8 original, or someones imitation of how it could of been from the factory?

I recall seeing an original, and it had the marbled ivory plastic. Looks right to me.

Two options for 1940 180: the blond as seen on this car, and the reddish brown (I don't know their proper names).

The 1940 180 blond translucent tenite dash was called "Onyx" by Packard, the later color (introduced around Dec. 1939) was called "Brown" by Packard...........

I would find that car difficult to drive, I'd be staring at the dash rather than the road ahead.
