Hi

Choices to pursue in the South:

A '47 Clipper Deluxe, dusty project, interior looks unusually good, perhaps at one time restored now neglected:
http://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto/5875995379.html

A '48 Eight Deluxe, drivable project:
http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/5931143736.html

A '52 300, "awesome condition very rare car, collectors item", your reaction upon seeing it may vary:
http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/5919601067.html

A '55 Clipper, "It runs . It has power seats , brakes and windows." Appears to be a hardtop:
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/5923016771.html

A '56 Clipper hardtop, good project start:
http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/cto/5932632178.html

A '58 sedan, battered parts car scrap priced:

This must be the lowest mileage Packard around. The data plate looks too shiny for a 65 year old vehicle.

That is quite the story but if true would explain low mileage. The interior certainly looks unused and low use. The antenna appears to have been repaired so I kind of wonder about someone who would park a high dollar car over something relatively trivial.

I can't picture what is hanging down in the rear -- unless they mickey moused some kind of fuel connection to get it running. Even so it looks like it is going too far to the rear for fuel. Any ideas?
