hey fine folks we need to know the torque for the head bolts please. here's progression.

Fasteners are 7/16x20. Make sure the threads are clean and dry! Then you want 62-63 ft-lbs. final torque. Go in 3 increments, around 20, then 45, then to 62-63. If you don't have the factory pattern, no problem - just start in the center and spiral out end to end, side to side. After the engine starts for the first time, retorque after perhaps 30 minutes of running. And again after several hours, yet again at the end of the season. And as per general industry recommendations, once a year with your annual tune-up.

i cannot stress that crucial retorque after a few heat cycles enough. i learned the hard way.
