Are the 1937 282 crankshafts forged steel? I know Studebaker only had forged steel cranks. Is the same true for Packard?

1937 120 camshafts are cast iron alloy but crankshafts are forged.

You might want to read this. Packard was a bit ahead of the curve with cast crankshafts for '55 and '56 as it was yet a few years in the future before they became a rather standard feature.
