I know it's an old laminate (any windshield you buy will be old too). Considering how difficult it is to replace ...maybe have a company like Safelite take a look?? I've seen some nasty bullseye hits repaired. Food for thought...

They unfortunately do not have the windshield I needed anymore ('54 hardtop), but they might have it for the '55-56. The guy explained that the company that was supplying them stopped doing so. I think he said that they have the molds for the glass, but haven't reproduced them again. -Kevin

If you want to try for new glass, did you try Vic at Phillips Classic Auto Glass? Over the years he's made several runs of the '56 Caribbean convertible windshield, may have the others as well. They are a major player in vintage auto glass.

A friend I went to school with her brother works for a large auto glass company. He looked and made calls.. Nope on windshields..
They have flat glass for Packard going back to the forties .. Maybe 30s.. Forgot to get who he works for.. He is in charge of inventory.. Will get company.. Let me know what you need.. I'll ask.
