Mileage tracking on packardinfo !?

Hi everybody...
I got an idea for the website! I guess a suggestion for BigKev...Would it be possible to somehow track the mileage that we put on our cars on packardinfo? Perhaps we could put a starting odometer either in our project blog, or in the vehicle registry, and then we update it as the driving season goes by. I'm sure Kev could integrate some odometer function somewhere. Our cars were made to be driven, so how about reporting how far we actually drive? This way people could also suggest maintenance due after a few thousand miles (don't forget the grease job now) You could also have star ratings for reaching 1 mile, 100, 500, 1000 miles per year, or total. Just an idea I had.....I drove to Stuttgart today for a cars and coffee which was 75 miles round trip, and now have 5k miles on the green clipper since "completing" the resto. It would be interesting to see how far some of us are still taking our packards. What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me. Would be interesting to see as I know some people drive their cars a LOT.
Highest number I recall seeing on here is 250k lifetime mileage. Pretty sure Ross has put 50k on his 200 in the past 20 years but probably does a lot more per year on the shop truck. Mike Dulinski, who I don't think is on here, has apparently been daily driving Packards for decades and I think would do something like 150k on each one before retiring it. Though he puts a Chrysler Imperial engines and transmission in his so that only half counts in my book. 😅

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish. |
