G'day, or should I say Howdy, Walter,
Irrespective, to PackardInfo!

I see this "As soon as I figure out exactly what I have I will post it here!" in your signature line. I presume that means you are going to include all five Packards in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo? I hope so, not often does the chance come along to boost the numbers there by more than one at a time.

Thank you, and everyone for the warm welcome. Two of the cars are most likly parts cars, at least one for sure due to rust issues. Only one, plus the chassis, looks like I might be able to get the engine started and then see if the transmission will help move the thing.

It's an almost overwhelming project, and originally I thought I might just try to sell everything for another less demanding project. Now that I have been cleaning up the chassis, I really want to hear it run! I envision being able to drive it around a little without the body.

Finding this forum has added to my excitement about the cars as well!

I will be out to the garage this afternoon and hope to get a picture or two.

I have a 1948 2262 rolling chassis complete (no Body), good looking engine/trans not sure it runs yet. A few other parts like air cleaner, dash board (no instruments) otherwise complete. If u need parts i'm willing to sell them. I'm in Middle Tn. 30 miles west of Nashville.

Thank you, but out of the four I hope I can get everything I need.

I am pretty sure myself and a delegation from the LSP region looked over that collection -I think it was near Bastrop. Like you, I had no idea where I was going to put them so I made a very low ball bid on the wagons and the chassis figuring if they took it I would find a place for them and if they did not I really did not need them! One of the other guys bid on the two sedans. I am very happy someone got them and they avoided the crusher! Good luck, Tommy
