After trying epoxy.
When to solder. And since lead is out of solder now. I did it before.. In the 70s. It's strong. I would of liked to get more on inside.

Riki, as I recall from my 55 Clipper, the spring tension to hold and lock the ignition switch in place is very strong. I was wondering if lessening the tension would help prevent the bezel from breaking. Maybe shorten the spring a small amount?

That's a possibility.. I would be concerned about the switch popping out .someone turns key hard. But I guess the tab could be made a bit dapper. The top ear was bent out. I put it in a vise. It moved in but fell off. If I do it again. I'm going to use a dowel inside bezel. To hold some brass shim stock. Solder to that. There is some clearance on inside. With the glob on top I was able to get bezel in and out of dash. I'm sure a weaker spring can be found

Finished wiring.
Had P before ..but no. P. Broken yellow wire. Fixed. Still have problem. Starts ok. But a about 30. Loses power. And. Low speed and high speed bucking.. My truck had low speed bucking. And was the carb. The book saids carb. I have gone thru it. Not all pbs are lighting up. Only one screw holding it together. So will pull apart and see what's up. Temping to put an LED in there. Has to be a block somewhere. New CD . with Bluetooth. Still figuring that out. Incoming calls easy . buy has not figured out how to send..

Glove box arrived. 2 months later.
And pretty sure solved the bucking. More that later. Putting old glove box in. Terminal strips are in the way. So when original dash goes in. Have to move the blocks. Thinking on radio power unit. My gasket..
I used a 1-3/8 punch. Then a leather punch for small holes The inch and 3/8 is ok for primary. But to big for secondary. The gap between barrels . doesn't cover all the metal. Should be ok. Hopefully it doesn't blow thru. Then the small holes in throttle plate need to be cleaned out. 77 drill. Which I broke. Using a pin vise But they are open.. Picture 3. Don't need that hole. Picture 4. Packard shows a hole. But nothing there..on bowl.
