Hey guys, after reversing my battery to the proper pos ground, started checking my components and all is well. Radio, blower etc. however I'm not sure how the clutch button works or if its just a filler button. I don't know anything about it. Any info would be great....

If the car never had the Electromatic option it's just a filler button and won't move. If the switch does move, then all this Electromatic mechanism needs to be intact and working. The switch turns the vacuum supply solenoid valve on or off which enables the clutch operation. Frequently cars originally with the option had it disabled or even pieces removed over the years.

If your car has the option, there is a training book in the literature section which tells all about operation and repair. The manual for the post war system is entitled "Clutch and Electromatic Clutch".
