Moving the front seat back more....

I'm 6'4"+, so when my seat was out to facilitate a rebuild on the bs heater core, I had the seat moved back an inch and a half.

Surprisingly difficult, but love the new legroom, particularly since my air is an under dash add-on.

Even with the power seat all the way back, these cars did not have an excess of front seat legroom. Is the manual seat same size?

When two men ride the same horse, one has to be in the back...

According to specs the Clipper had three tenths of an inch more front legroom at 43.3" and one could assume it was probably manual seat specs. It was one of the smallest when compared with all the cars in it's class.

Except for the Lincoln Continental Mk II, the Packard was the smallest at 43". No specs on whether there was more travel power vs manual but with the same floor mounting holes for the tracks I believe they are probably both around 5".

All the published 56 specs are in the 56 fact book if you want to look at any others.
