25 years in the MP Corps never prepared me for a 52 Packard that sat sealed off from the world for 40 years!

Mark, there are several 51-54 Packards just east of you on hwy 94 (Webb's wrecking yard). I have picked various parts from these cars in the past. Look inside the cars as many parts are still there, although not attached (loose in the trunk or on the floor). Old man Webb is easy to deal with, but his son runs the yard now.

Mark let me know if you don't find one in Webb's yard. I have a spare one. Sounds like I need to come down to Colorado Springs and go thru that yard.

Went to webbs... Mr Webb toted me all over the yard and couldnt find any packards... he said his son had a nervous breakdown and he had to come back to work. If you remember where on the yard the packards were, send me a map or we could meet there. Mr Webb is a funny old guy.. wouldnt let me get out of his Nissan sentra junkers back seat to walk around. Insisted on escorting me and my daughter the whole way. I mentioned to him I have a 1950 Chevy PU I might need a bed for and he kept forgetting I was looking for a packard... I might try again in a week or so and not mention any other brands to sidetrack him...

Mark, it looks like I'll need to go out there with you. You're right about Mr. Webb, and I'm sorry to hear about his son. There are four or five Packards strewn about, mostly in the first set of rows. The old man likes my wife and she can usually reason with him.
