Transmission seals/body flex

I am currently in the process of a frame off restoration on a 1955 400. My concern is how difficult is it to change out the seals front and back on the transmission.

With the body stripped down to the shell, will it flex without additional support when removed from the frame.

if the doors are still on your probably fine. if doors gone, wedge some wood across the door openings to stop the flexing.
