I've encountered quite a few cases where Kanter Bros (the boys from Boonton) prices are less than Max Merritt, so it does pay to shop around. It also pays to ask if you're buying an NOS or NORS or Repro part as they are almost always priced quite differently.

I agree with Owen here as as well.Some things cost more at Merritt and other more at Kanter. Always wise to shop around and check out other suppliers also. Don't forget that NAPA also is a good source for many parts as well as are your local bearing supply shops etc. since many of the parts used by Packard are also identical to those used by other car makes.
