Exhaust manifold

Trying to take the exhaust manifold off my 35 eight sedan and have been soaking the nuts with pb blast and an acetone/ATF mix. The problem I run into is the very little room there is to get tools in there. Any suggestions or special tools for this? On some of the nuts I can't even get a small socket on it!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you

From your description it seems you are describing a '35 model 120 as the 35 (Stadard) Eight has te nuts open and exposed.

On the 120 you can use a box wrench but you have to flip it over after each (small) swing. On some 8 cyl cars a combination universal joint/socket is the trick.

Have you tried a manifold wrench?
