A couple of years ago I came across a publication showing the wood frame joints and joinery breakdown. I printed it out but now cannot find it. It showed each of the major joints in the wood framing, the metal brackets and a diagram of the joinery. Can anyone point me to this publication?

I don't recall if that book was discussed on this forum but there are some books that might have what you are looking for. One on woodwork seems to be available at several places. It might be the one you are thinking of as the description mentions discussing various types of joints used. Currently out of stock at the cheapest outlet (store said more is coming) but is available on ebay for a bit more. Faxon auto literature also carries it for even more.

There are some other interesting looking books on metal work and leather work for the early cars on ebay too.
