The cowl-mounted antenna base is unique to 1940. The plastic part of the base WAS available from Yesterday's Radio - maybe the new owners are also making it.

I know they make the base for the 1941 version, but I am uncertain if they have the 1940 version. http://americanarrowcorp.com/ Another idea is to look for a roof-mounted antenna as an alternative.
