A few more things

So put new. Cap etc on. Went to started it nothing.

Luckily I took pictures. Someone put the dist in at number 8.

I had it wired Packard way.. Moved everything over one. Started right up.
Cold high idle runs great. Warms up rough idle. The carbs are dirty and wet. Tighten up screws which were loose..

Lic. Plate light. They cut the wire to short. I had to add. About 10 inches.

The socket was down in the horn. I call it horn. Light bracket..

It has the VW switch. Which quit. Tl comes on with brakes.

For less money and more reliability you can get an inexpensive cube relay and a 2 terminal brake switch instead of messing with the VW switch. Make your own adapter.

Have the relay. So..will make one up. Getting to switch will be a b itch.

Have to see what's up with right rear window motor to.

Looks like they cut off the bullet.

And hard to see. But not all three contacts are being used

Would explain why tl comes on

Here was the brake switch. How they hacked the tl.

Added hh56..diagram works right now.
