ok let me ask this ... 8 MPH ? do i jack the car up and put it 1st gear to get this 8 MPH ?....

How 'bout you just set that to a nice slow idle that sounds good to the ear and let it go at that.

8 mph in top gear is 400 rpm with 28" dia tires and a 4.10 rear.

They used MPH to indicate engine speed, because it was difficult to measure RPM. What does the engine sound like at 8 MPH? Set the idle to that speed.

I will do that .. after getting the cracked exhaust and a fresh tuneup on her im thinking of taking off the C Grove carb and putting on the

477s carter WA-1 or i got a Carter 385S WA-1 ...

The butter fly sticks in the C grove carb and leaks a bit
