Hello everyone , new here and looking for some insight ,
I found a ‘49 deluxe 8 , 24000 original miles for sale locally . Went to look at it and was impressed how the frame looked , very clean and no rust . There are a few rust spots 1) where your left foot sits if you were driving the car 2) behind the right taillight inside the trunk floor . The car was licensed and driven in 2019 , the current owner had done some brake work looks like new lines , and shoes .
The car needs a front bumper and grille , it looks to have all the fender wraparound parts .Supposedly it had rolled into a pole or something . So to sum everything up here , what may be some things to look at or stay away from on these cars for a newbie like myself ?
