Hi, I'm needing some information and hoping to pick someone's knowledgeable brain; how do I remove the tail light lens from my 1957Packard Clipper sedan?

Remove assembly from rear fender to allow access to rear of tail light . The screws that hold on lens are located on back of assembly The manual for 1957 clipper supplement is on this site Packard Clipper 1957 supplement

I believe there is also a Phillips Head screw on the top of the housing right above the top of the red lense.

Another fact is that the 56 Packard Clipper and 57 Packard Clipper have different tail lights the casting and part number are different the 57 have three phillips head screws from out side and three studs inside the rear fender. The 56 ones have holes cast into bottom for the rubber which is attached to bottom of housing on 56 Clippers

They are same part number for 56 - 58 clipper
