I am helping my friend John rebuild his 645 transmission. My question is about removing the cluster gear shaft, we have removed the nut from the front of the shaft and question if there are threads at the rear or does the shaft just slide out the rear end of the case. I have done lots of later transmission and lots of parts for the R9 and R11, I do not want to damage with a heave hammer. Thanks for the help. Dell
