I was recently reading an article about Mopar gauges in later model cars. Mopar being Chrysler corporation of course. The article stated that all the amperage has to go through the ammeter if the car is equipped with an ammeter. So it's understandable how they can break down. Especially in a car that's 70 to 80 years old. So it might be a smart idea for all of us to send our ammeters out to have them rebuilt. A stitch in time saves nine! Avert the danger which is yet to come!
