and you didn't. Envy me, silly people!!!

Scored the lifter tester thingie of his creation. As shown in his "for sale" thread. First kid on my block to have one. Fred will be so pleased.

If it saves pulling one head to rework a bum lifter, it's well worth the price of admission.

Too bad it's too far to drop in sometime . . . .

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Quite. It was a very pleasant visit, all in all. He has a nice place and great toys.

And Google did a fine job of (mostly) bypassing the constipation of the central part of the eastern north-south highway corridor.

However, I did not see evidence of a shop cat . . . .

Wat, did you see that maroon packup in person, or did Ross already sell that?

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

It was probably doing a cat-scan somewhere else in the neighborhood...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you

He has two. One is a flatbed, and he extolled the virtues of ease-of-loading, et cetera.

He does nice work!!!

There's a facepalm here if I weren't so damned polite.

There would have been a food and water dish if there were a cat. It took me a year to meet Mitzi the shop cat at a friend's place, but I knew she was around from Day One.

I may have to go back and read Ross's Fun Thread.
