What do you think about lowering the 1937 Convertible Coupe?
Greetings Mike

Mine's pretty low already. I wouldn't want it any lower. The wheels and fender openings seem to be in the correct relationship.

I guess you could. When I got mine it had smaller tires on it, believe they were 6.50-16, and that left more room around the wheel well. This would allow the lowering as far as clearance goes.
TxGoat makes a great point though, the current 7.00-16 matches the wheel opening as designed, if you lower the car the wheel is no longer concentric in the wheel opening, leaving fore and aft of the wheel a larger margin than the top and it would look, to me, like roller skates on an elephant.
If you were to go full custom and create new wheel openings that were concentric with the smaller/lowered wheels it might work. I suggest doing a major shift like this in a software package that you can render your goal first before picking up the first tool.
