There is a nicely restored 56 400, done with original fabric, that I know of in NY. It needs chrome work, an engine, and a refresh to the driveline yet. But the price should be correspondingly reasonable.

Thanks! These doors are probably very nice but I do need to get a car, before thinking about any spare parts
![]() As for the project vehicles, I've learned that it is likely to be more cost-effective to get one in good, maintained drivable condition, for more money, as opposed to a non-running project. Especially, if the given vehicle already saw some alterations in the past. An older vehicle, by itself, still takes plenty of maintenance and upkeep as is, already ![]() Unless, of course, you prefer to spend a lot of time in the garage and never-ever actually finishing anything (and some people actually do just that).
