In other words always install the shaft on the same side it came out of. Swapping sides can result in a broken axle down the road. Posted on: 2009/11/6 21:25

I know that some racing teams would paint a line down the length of the axles so later on they could identify how much they have twisted, and then know when it's time to replace them.
