It just looked to me like a gaudy piece of artwork that only the "cultured elite" could appreciate. Since John fits in that category I figured it was something that he would have sitting in his front yard to collect bird droppings, the best use for most of the "modern art" of today.

IMHO, it would have looked better as a large sized chrome and glass replica, instead of all the weird variations that look like someone was using LSD when designing. I've never been a fan of this "modern art" crap, they should have stopped at Art Nouveau (Art Deco for the uninitiated) which is some of the most beautiful design work to have ever been done. Again, just MHO.

Eric: I purchased that nice piece of lawn art to keep my chauffeur busy when he is not driving me around
in my daily driver.

Oh I failed to mention that my daily driver is a Maybach landaulet. The second picture posted is of me on a return trip from a wine tasting party.
