The Packards International Membership Meet and Swap Meet will be at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange, CA on Jan 29th-31st, 2009 (Fri-Sun).

This is the annual main PI convention, and about the biggest all Packard gathering/swap meet on the West Coast every year. You must be a member of PI to attend the actual diners and events. But the Car Show on Saturday, and the Swap Meet on Sunday (both located in the back Hotel Parking Lot) are open to the public.

I will post the official flyer once I get ahold of one.

This has been the unofficial PackardInfo.com west coast gathering point for the last couple of years. If anyone is planning on attending, lets get a role-call put together so we can all meet and greet.

Well it is the their Membership Meet/Convention. So I dont see what's so funny about it?

Also as I said the Swapmeet and Car Show are open to the public. It's their private dinners and seminars which are members only.

Thanks for the reminder. Looks like I'll not be able to make it this year. Please take plenty of photos for those of us who wish we could be there.

You will be missed! I will bring the camera as always and a couple of extra batteries so I make sure I get lots of good shots!

Just a heads up the normal room rate at the hotel the event is being held at is $107 a night. But if book in advance through the DoubleTree Hotel and prepay the room, you can get it for $76 a night (Advance Purchase Rate). Every little bit helps!

Just a reminder folks that the PI Membership Meet is 2 weeks away (29th, 30th, 31st).

If you are planning on attending either the entire convention or just the Swap-Meet on Sunday, then please let me know so I can keep an eye out for you.

I look forward meeting folks local from Calif, AZ, and points further East. This has become the unofficial PackardInfo.com meeting spot on the West Coast. Just as the Warren Meet is the East Coast meeting spot.
