Welcome...there's many knowledgeable and helpful folks here. I too think that well maintained original cars are extra special, and gravitate to them at any shows I attend. Please post lots of pics!

I strongly 2nd firedome's, randy berger's and 39super8's (among others) sentiments, to me original or mostly original cars, preserved and maintained (and used) as mostly original are the "top end" of the hobby, followed closely by those only restored as necessary to OEM condition (for example, a repaint in OEM colors). Sure, most of us love to look at the dazzling, spectacular mega-restorations and museum pieces, but to me there isn't anything to match the pleasure of owning and driving a mostly unaltered piece of history. As they say, a car can be restored many times but can only be original once. Such cars deserve more credit than they often get.
