Now there's a positive move Kev. THANK YOU.

By the way, if you buy a replacement part from either a major parts store such a Advance or an OE like GM and it is made in China the markup is approx 800%. That's just the economics of the business. The quality passes all of their specs and testing.

Sincerely

Thank you Bigkev. And, Frank, sorry about the windshield washer mistake, I did say that it was on the production slip. I forgot about that! Darned this memory! By "quality" I mean how well do your products hold up and if they are made of real steel plated in chromium, glass, no plastic (except on items that would have that), etc. Thanks everyone!

The point I was making with that statement is that we're all Packard owners on here, and if we wanted a car with Chinese parts in it we would have started collecting Hyundai's, not Packards.

Same difference. My point is that we own antique American cars, not foreign ones.

To put Chinese parts on a Packard is to pervert it's design and corrupt it's performance.

I support your giving your opinion, whether or not I agree with it, but please keep it informed. Koreans and Chinese are not the same. My experience is that there are crooks and honest people in all countries, including this one.

I wish I had a Packard with a foreign Fernandez et Darrin body!

Same difference meaning Hyundai uses a lot of Chinese parts in them, I know because I've been rebuilding one in my driveway for the past few weeks.

Not that we have all the "opinions" out of the way, and the horse is fully glue. I think this thread has run it's course.
